Love of music and solid musical skills are givens. This position is perfect for reliable people who love to teach and help others grow. Teaching experience is a must, as well as the desire and openness to improve as a teacher.

Responsibilities include:
–Coach your students to long term success in music by teaching effective and motivating lessons and using available resources.
–Encourage and support your students in playing in school recitals and shows.
–Continually improve as a teacher by learning and sharing the NYCGS world class best teaching practices and attend and contribute to continuing teacher education programs.
–Be proactive, reliable and dependable in your communication with students and other team members. This includes giving advance notice on gigs or tours.

Note: This position is for in-person teaching at our Midtown location (251 W 30th St). Saturday and Sunday availability are a must!
