Skill and Equipment Requirements for Intermediate and Advanced Bands:

• All Players: At least one year of playing experience, ability to play through complete songs, and ability to understand basic song charts.
  
  
• Guitarists: Students should also be familiar with open and barre chords and read chord diagrams and tablature. Bring your own electric guitar, tuner, strap, and cable. Amplifiers are provided.
  
  
• Bassists: Students should be familiar with basic techniques and read tablature & chord charts. Bring your own electric bass, tuner, strap, and cable. Amplifiers are provided.
  
  
• Drummers: Students should also be familiar with basic drum rudiments. Just bring your sticks!
  
  
• Keyboardists: Students should be familiar with basic techniques and read chord charts. Just bring yourself!
  
  
• Vocalists: Students should also have an understanding of basic breathing technique and ability to match pitches by ear. Just bring yourself!

• Classes are held in The Recording and Rehearsal Arts Building on West 30th Street in Manhattan--New York's top professional rehearsal building, frequented by artists such as Public Enemy, Alicia Keys, Black Flag, Taking Back Sunday, David Byrne, Britney Spears, Steely Dan and many more.



• We supply guitars for your use at no charge!



• You WILL be able to play songs and riffs at the end of the two week period!



• Campers age 15-17 are allowed off campus without supervision for lunch.



• Campers age 12-14 are allowed off campus without supervision ONLY with parental permission.
