Jason is a classical guitarist and educator living in New York City. As a teacher his main focus is helping young students find the joy and excitement of playing the guitar. He works to guide them through proper technique and helps them learn good discipline in an atmosphere that is not only fun for the students but also for the parents. Jason maintains a large Suzuki Guitar Studio teaching mainly on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Through the Suzuki Association of the America’s, Jason has received his Suzuki Teacher Training from expert teacher trainer Andrea Cannon. He is a firm believer in the benefits of early music education.

Jason holds both a Master of Music degree and Professional Studies Diploma from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music where he was the recipient of the 2014-2015 Jephson Educational Trust Award. His main teachers were renowned guitarists Mark Delpriora and David Leisner.

As a soloist Jason has performed throughout the East coast and internationally as far as Germany and China. He has had the opportunity to play in masterclasses for such renowned guitarists as Sharon Isbin, David Russell, David Tanenbaum, Xuefei Yang, Thomas Kirchoff, Michael Newman, Gerald Garcia and Hans Werner-Huppertz.
