Our mission is Coaching Personal Greatness One Lesson At A Time. One way we do that is through our Summer Rock Camp Internship Program!

Are you a focused and hardworking young musician? This is your opportunity to deepen your musical skills and identity while gaining real world experience in a fast paced and high quality work environment!

Post High-School Internships: The NYC Guitar School Summer Rock Camp runs a paid internship program for former campers who have graduated from high school (ie graduating in May 2023 or graduated in 2022). This internship promotes leadership and gives students real world experience working in the music industry. Our camp has many outstanding veteran students who have attended our camp for multiple summers, completed the internship program and have gone on to study music and non-music related majors in college. The interns help run the daily operations of the camp, guide families during orientation, coach younger students and run backstage operations during showcases. It is a serious job and we select students who display maturity, a willingness to work hard, reliability and a dedication to the mission of the camp. Applicants should be available to work all 3 sessions.

There are two Post High-School Internships available in 2023.
Dates:  July 5 – August 11.
Compensation: $2000 stipend.
Additional one-time $300 bonus for not missing any days during the 6-week program.

Rising Senior Internships: This program gives current older campers the opportunity to gain valuable work experience as interns for a TWO week session and to support and contribute to the development of younger campers. In addition, these interns get a $700 tuition scholarship which can be applied in another session of the camp or towards lessons. The student must be a continuing camper who will enter their senior year of high school next Fall. There are a total of 3 TWO Week internships available in 2023. 

NOTE: Session I tuition scholarship for Rising Seniors is pro-rated to $560.
