Here at NYC Guitar School, 75% of our students are adults–and many of them are learning guitar for the first time. We understand that often our students are balancing a busy schedule and conflicting demands for their time. We work hard to accommodate our students as much as possible. If you are motivated to learn to play the guitar, we want to support you however we can.
A: Private lessons are available in your Manhattan home or office or at our studio in the Recording and Rehearsal Arts Building at 251 West 30th Street.

A: The first step is to set up a trial lesson. Call or e-mail our friendly staff (at 646-485-7244 or info@nycguitarschool.com). We'll ask you about your experience and interests and suggest one of our expert teachers for a single, no-obligation trial lesson.
A:The trial lesson is discounted and runs from $40 to $60 depending on time and location. After the trial you can continue with individual lessons at $50-$80 per lesson, however most of our students take advantage of our discounted blocks of five or ten lessons.

STUDIO WEEKNIGHT PEAK (Mon-Thu 4pm or later):
Trial Lesson: $60.
Individual Lesson: $80.
Block rate for five or ten pre-paid studio weeknight lessons=$63.50 each (20% discount)*
HOME VISIT (Anytime at your home or office):
Trial Lesson: $60.
Individual Lesson: $80.
Block rate for five or ten pre-paid home lessons=$68.50 each (15% discount)*
WEEKEND STUDIO:
Trial Lesson: $50.
Individual Lesson $60.
Block rate for five or ten pre-paid studio weekend lessons=$53.50 each (30% discount)*
WEEKDAY OFF-PEAK STUDIO (Mon-Thu 10am-3:45pm):
Trial Lesson: $40.
Individual Lesson $50.
Block rate for five or ten pre-paid off-peak studio lessons=$43.50 each (45% discount)*
*You can withdraw at anytime from a set of lessons for a one hundred percent refund or credit for remaining lessons.
A: Don't worry! Our teachers are patient and supportive, and we have a top notch curriculum to help beginners gently achieve confidence and competence.
A: You are welcome to bring your guitar, but you do not need to. Guitars are available for the use of students during the lessons.
A: Yes! Experience extra motivation and fun by learning together with a friend for only an extra $9 per lesson.
A: Economical guitar rentals are available.
A: Yes! Attractive gift certificates are available for any number of lessons.
