Home Sean Saville
Sean Saville’s love for music began as he started attending and eventually organizing local DIY concerts in his hometown of Utica, NY. He later moved to Rocheter, NY, where he earned a degree in Music Business while minoring in and focusing on jazz improvisation. In Rochester, he played a wide variety of gigs from big bands and pit orchestras to rock concerts and benefit fundraisers. Sean is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Jazz Performance at NYU where he also teaches guitar lessons via his school’s grad-adjunct program. Currently, he performs with Jon and the Projectors (the pop/jazz/R&B crossover project of Jon Weisbrot) and Free Casino (his math rock/punk band).
Sean loves teaching and discussing the guitar just as much as he enjoys performing. He is a dedicated guitar instructor who is motivated to help you reach your musical goals.
