How good do you have to be at playing lead guitar to get signed to The Allman Brothers record label? Really good!
We are so excited that Suke Cerulo is teaching for NYC Guitar School. Suke is the Director of the Lead Guitar program and has been with us since we started in 2004. He has written the books for all five lead guitar courses as well as Fundamentals of Music and more. Learning as a guitar player and as a musician, Suke teaches the essential knowledge you need to help you succeed and feel good about what you play.
Suke’s band Schleigho formed in 1993 toured nationally for over fifteen years releasing 5 CD’s . For the last two CD’s they signed with Flying Frog Records (owned and managed by members of the Allman Brothers Band). They also toured and recorded with Derek Trucks Band, shared the stage with, Bela Fleck, John Scofield, G. Love and Special Sauce, Maceo Parker, Galactic, moe. and many more top acts. Suke has played in many other projects including his own band Suke Cerulo and the Full Back Horns. He recorded his first solo band album “One Aim” in 2013 and released “IceStorm” in 2020, an adventurous and daring instrumental piece where Suke composed and played all of the instruments.
