Jereena Montemayor was born in the Philippines and moved to California at a young age. It was here that music quickly became a central part of her life. At age 7, her dad gifted her a guitar, and inspired by Hannah Montana, she began creating webcam covers that blended her voice with the lively Filipino tradition of karaoke. These early musical experiences laid the groundwork for her artistry.

During her junior year of high school, Jereena moved to Texas and started sharing her music online, posting both covers and original songs. Her talent and authenticity quickly resonated, and she built a following that led to her first releases on streaming platforms and allowed her to connect with listeners worldwide.

While pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Jereena continued to grow her music career, seamlessly balancing her dedication to education with her evolving artistry. Now based in New York, she’s embracing new opportunities to pursue her dual passions for music and education.
