Home Emily Kay Shrader
Born and raised in Northern California, Emily discovered her love for music when she began to sing “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” at the top of her lungs on a family bike ride. Her parents took her to her first voice lesson and she instantly fell in love.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Marymount Manhattan College and has studied voice with diverse and acclaimed teachers in NYC. As a musical theatre actor, she has performed in regional theatres across the United States and toured nationally and internationally. She has also performed new musical theatre, pop, rock and her original music at several NYC music venues such as Joe’s Pub, Rockwood Music Hall and Feinstein’s/54 Below.
A lover of music and creativity, a lesson with Emily will be all about discovering the unique connection between your artistic and personal goals. Lessons will be approached from the standpoint that you are a unique individual and storyteller with your own voice and music to share. Bring your positive spirit and let’s make some music!
