Clayton Hopkins is a NYC/NJ based guitarist, songwriter, and singer. He studied Music Engineering, Production, Contemporary Guitar, and Composition/Songwriting at Frost School of Music before moving to NYC to pursue his original music full-time. Clayton’s contemporary rock n roll group, Clayton-Ellis, has toured the UK 3 times and Clayton co-wrote and co-produced all the material on the band’s debut album. In addition to teaching with NYC Guitar School, he is currently writing and producing material for a new album and he also has a featured role in a television pilot. Clayton specializes in rock, blues and fingerstyle guitar, and is excited to share his love of rock and acoustic guitar with students. His patience and enthusiasm allow him to connect and nurture students from beginner to expert as they discover and pursue their passion for music.
