Atlas Finch is a New York City based musician, composer, and producer, as well as a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer. He has experience performing across a wide range of genres (Blues, Rock, Jazz, Metal, Funk, Disco, Hip Hop), on guitar, bass, keys, and drums. Originally from Minneapolis, he graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus on composition, culminating in a thesis project in which he composed, recorded, and produced an album drawing from popular styles of music. He completed his Masters in Music Technology at New York University in 2022, during which he acted as senior engineer in the James L. Dolan recording studio. He currently works and lives in New York City teaching guitar and bass, performing with bands and solo artists, and recording music.

Atlas excels at teaching Funk and Rock, as well as improvisation techniques, composition methods, and music theory. He teaches all ages and skill levels, and loves helping students achieve their musical goals at whatever pace works best for them.
