Note: Classes are divided by age (kids 8-11 and teens 12-17) as well as by skill level. Classes are 55 minutes long and all classes include warm-ups, a brief theory lesson, and lots of learning technique, chords, scales and rhythms in the context of motivating songs. Each level is 15 weeks for $399.

Kids and Teen Level I

Absolutely no prior musical experience needed. Students will learn musical fundamentals and play along to great songs by artists such as Imagine Dragons, The Beatles and Katy Perry. Our 15-session introductory guitar course covers basic chords, TAB reading, music theory and ensemble skills and ends with a group performance! All materials provided. Guitars available for use in the classroom.

Kids and Teen Level II

Students who read TAB and are comfortable changing between basic chords will gain confidence and improve their strumming skills as they play along to songs by such artists as Green Day, Jimi Hendrix and Rhianna. This 15-session course covers power chords, basic scales and simple solos and ends with a group student performance! All materials provided. Guitars available for use in the classroom.

Kids and Teen Level III

For students who are comfortable with power chords, strumming patterns and some lead guitar, this 15-session course covers barre chords and pentatonic scales. Students will play songs by such artists as AC/DC, Mumford and Sons and The Red Hot Chili Peppers and learn how to improvise their own guitar solos!  All materials provided. Guitars available for use in the classroom.

Kids and Teen Level IV

Master full solos and play along to great songs by such artists as Led Zeppelin, Sleeping With Sirens and Metallica. This course covers 7th chords, major and minor scales and advanced techniques such as tapping. For students who can play pentatonic scales and barre chords. All Materials provided. Guitars available for use in the classroom.
