Are You Extreme?

Extremely excited to play guitar, that is? Improve your guitar skills FAST and play a real show in just two intense days! You’ll join up to ten people in a guitar orchestra, with songs pre-selected by your instructor. With ten hours of guitar in just two days, you’ll learn to play parts, not just strum, as well as improving your improvisation. Then you’ll hit the stage before a packed house on a Saturday night, to play a set to open for our Rock Band Showcase.

COURSE RUNS 2 DAYS, BACK-TO-BACK:

– FRIDAY AUGUST 1

6 hours: 10am-1pm, 2-5pm

– SATURDAY AUGUST 2

4 hours plus the show: 10am-noon, 1-3pm

Show: 5pm at Fontana’s (105 Eldridge St)

REQUIREMENTS: Students must have completed Guitar V: Advanced Beginners or equivalent, and have a working command of barre chords and the pentatonic scale. Limited to 10 students.
