Each week we will focus on a specific woman who has made an indelible impact on the evolution and possibilities of music and songwriting. We will dig through a bit of background and history on the artist, their accomplishments, style, and groundbreaking moments. We will then learn the entirety of or part of one of their biggest songs and have a path forward to either playing the entire song and/or being able to sing and play. I'll end with providing more references of their best-known songs to check out further. Artists include: Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Lauryn Hill, Aretha Franklin, Carole King, and more!
