Basic Ear Training for Guitar Players
Basic ear training exercises and activities every week to help improve your ear! Listening exercises to identify and find different notes, intervals, chords and progressions on the guitar. Rhythm practice with reading and performing different rhythms and strums on and off the guitar. Every Wednesday from 5-6pm. Prerequisite: Anyone who has completed Guitar for Absolute Beginners and has a basic understanding of open chords and strums can join the class! Headphones are also required!

Here, There, and Everywhere: Music Theory Via The Beatles
This class will dive into the magical mysteries of the Beatles' songs, deconstructing which musical tools they used to create the most revered catalogue of music in the 20th century. We will cover a few songs each week, with a focus on a specific musical technique. In each class, we will discuss a few of the most legendary riffs, solos, songs, and concepts, the teacher Curtis J Brewer will provide charts and tab for each lesson. Prerequisites: This class is best suited for more advanced players. Being comfortable with barre chords, basic functionally harmony (roman numeral / Nashville system) power chords, major / minor scale shapes is ideal. Students will also need to know how to read tab and chord charts. Some riffs and songs will be a little easier but some will definitely be more advanced. We are going to learning riffs, chord progressions, melodies, and music theory. Some concepts are still pretty approachable for all skill levels. Beginners are of course welcome to come through, especially if they're ready to learn more about the Beatles!

Led Zeppelin – Song by Song
We are going to dive headfirst into the material of one the greatest bands ever--Led Zeppelin. Under the leadership of guitar wizard Jimmy Page, This legendary band made 9 incredible studio albums. We will cover a few songs each weewk! In each class, we will discuss a few of the most legendary riffs, solos, songs, and concepts on each album, the teacher David will provide charts and tab for each lesson. PREREQUISITES: This class is best suited for more advanced players. Being comfortable with barre chords, power chords, hammer-ons, pull-offs, pentatonic/blues scale/major scale shapes is ideal. Students will also need to know how to read tab and chord charts. Some riffs and songs will be a little easier but some will definitely be more advanced. We are going to learning riffs, solo excerpts, fingerpicking patterns, and specific strumming patterns. If you've completed some or all of the Lead Guitar and Fingerstyle curriculum or if you're a FUEL student, this class is definitely for you. Some concepts are still pretty approachable for all skill levels. Beginners are of course welcome to come through, especially if they're ready to rock out to some Zeppelin!
