We have exciting news!! This is our first ever guitar intensive for adults and we have officially confirmed our guest seminar teacher for the camp. Alex Skolnick, the lead guitarist of well-known metal band Testament (and a jazz guitar enthusiast) will be teaching a guitar seminar as part of the program! We have also confirmed Arlene’s Grocery as the venue for the final concert on Friday night August 16th!

This sounds cool! ..but what exactly is the Summer Guitar Intensive for Adults?
It is a five day program from August 12-16th for the advanced guitar player who is looking to radically improve their playing. In this 25 hour program, you’ll study in daily group classes and clinics, jam with fellow students in daily ensemble classes, and experience personalized coaching from an expert instructor in one-one lessons. Program Details
-Daily guitar clinics and classes on lead guitar technique, soloing approaches, harmony, rhythm, ear training and theory.
-Daily ensemble sessions so that you can immediately put your new knowledge and skills to practical use with other musicians.
-Daily 1 hour private lesson with an expert NYC Guitar School instructor (Monday – Thursday).
-Guest seminar taught by Alex Skolnick of Testament and the Alex Skolnick Trio.
-Final concert at NYC rock venue, Arlene’s Grocery, on the Lower East Side!
