We have a proven track record in after-school programming around the tri-state area for 8 years and we have quickly adapted to virtual teaching in the last two years – teaching thousands of virtual experiences including camps, classes, and lessons.
NYC Guitar School’s unique virtual classes mix small group bonding and learning with independent practice and breakout coaching from NYC Guitar School’s world class instructors, all via video conference and cloud based digital audio work spaces. The result is an engaging, immersive experience for young musicians!
Virtual programming for after-school is available for the 2021-2022 school year. We are no longer offering after-school programs onsite at partner schools.

School’s inspiring instructors use play along tracks, group bonding
and learning, one to one coaching, cloud based digital audio
interfaces, and our own custom step-by-step curriculum. The result is
a unique immersive experience! Curbside guitar rental available from
our Midtown studio.
Learn the basics of music production and create your own original
tracks – even if you don’t play a musical instrument! NYC Guitar
School’s world class instructors guide you through the basics of
digital music, recording, mixing, songwriting, music theory, and
more…using just your computer! This class combines a virtual
classroom with a cloud based music studio called Soundtrap and
prepares you for more advanced programs like Abelton or ProTools.

Learn the basics of music production and create your own original

This unique experience allows bandmates to record songs together! NYC
Guitar School’s world class instructors will coach you via a virtual
classroom. Then, you’ll record your individual parts using the cloud
based online music studio, Soundtrap. Bond with your bandmates, build
skills on your instrument, and learn the basics of digital production.
Learn classical guitar with NYC Guitar School’s world class Suzuki
instructors! Receive all the benefits of the Suzuki method in a live
online experience.
