Summer Programs at NYC Guitar School
Do you want to rock?
Do you really want to rock?
Join either our Rock 'N' Roll Boot Camp or Summer Rock Band for two weeks of intense rock 'n' roll training...You'll get to rehearse in a fully equipped rehearsal studio, perform in a live show for family and friends, and even take home a CD of your performance!
Our philosophy: We want every student, guest, and teacher to leave our school strengthened in mind and spirit, and more able to rock!
What if I have never played an instrument before?
Join our Rock 'N' Roll Boot Camp! You'll study guitar...AND on the last day, you'll perform one song as a group to open the live rock show for the Near Beginner and Advanced Rock Bands, and take home a CD of your performance.
What if I already play an instrument?
Experience what it's like to really play in a band! Join our intensive two-week Summer Rock Band for Kids or Teens and you will rock out with others in a fully equipped studio with guitar and bass amps, and drum kit. At the end of the program, your band will perform for family and friends in a live concert, and we'll record a CD of your rockstar moment for you to keep.
Who can join the NYC Guitar School Summer Programs?
Anyone between the ages of 9 and 17 years old! We divide our programs by age and level. Students with some experience on guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or vocals can join one of our exciting Summer Rock Bands.
When are they, and how long do they run?
We have two sessions, one in July and one in August. Both sessions run for two weeks and culminate in a rocking live band show for friends and family, with CDs mailed to you.
