Note Reading for Guitarists

Limited to five students. Ten weekly one-hour sessions. $ 319.00

Understanding music notation is the gateway to becoming a musician and not just a guitarist! In this course, you'll learn how to learn read traditional music notation and how it applies to your guitar playing.

Learn to read notes and where to find them on the guitar. Plus, learn to read rhythms and even create your own strumming patterns and riffs! The class will also cover key signatures, time signatures, circle of fifths, tempo, dynamics, song direction (i.e. repeat sign, D.C. al Coda etc), and other essential tools. By the end of the course, you'll even be able to look at songbooks and play them correctly. It will greatly improve your confidence and every aspect of your guitar playing. All materials provided. Guitars available for use in the classroom.
