Nineties Rock for Guitarists

Limited to five students. Ten weekly one-hour sessions. $ 319.00

Were you a 90s child? Do you believe that the greatest decade for music was wedged between two of the worst decades for music? If so, come reach musical Nirvana with 90s rock! Taught by Matt Williamson, a 90s child himself, you will learn to play the hits of your childhood by artists such as Blind Melon, Collective Soul, Gin Blossoms, Spin Doctors, Lisa Loeb, Train, and more! You will learn techniques such as new chord voicings, octaves & sliding octaves, chord inversions, alternate barre chords, 2-measure strum patterns, and alternate tunings. For the Advanced Beginner, or one who is very comfortable with open and barre chords, and fairly advanced strumming patterns.
