Brazilian Guitar Basics
Limited to six students. Ten weekly one-hour sessions. $ 319.00
In this class you will learn the beautiful music of Brazil in a fun, comprehensive, and interactive way. The class will focus specifically on the styles of Bossanova and Samba.
You will learn the basics of Latin fingerstyle rhythms, as well as sophisticated jazz-based chords. You will also learn classic Brazilian tunes such as "The Girl From Ipanema", "Quiet Night of Quiet Stars", "One Note Samba", "Waters of March", and "Chove Chuva" amongst others. For students who have completed Guitar For Intermediate Beginners or who are otherwise familiar with basic open chords, tablature, and strumming patterns.
