Jon Fickes

Jon is now twenty-three years old but has been a musician since childhood, playing harmonica at the age of ten, guitar at the age of eleven, and writing songs at the age of fifteen. By seventeen, he was playing professionally in clubs all over Washington state. His passion for music led him to finish a degree in Classical Guitar Performance at Central Washington University.

In his junior year at CWU one of his professors decided that Jon had the makings of a great guitar teacher and asked him to start teaching other college students as well as children and adults from the wider community. That professor was right! Children and adult students alike succeeded under Jon's patient and enthusiastic guidance. We're so excited that Jon has joined us!
