Acoustic and electric guitars are available for use in our studios at no charge!

Do you need a guitar to practice with at home and aren't ready to buy one yet? You can rent a guitar! NYC Guitar School Students can rent acoustic guitars for $19 per month with a refundable deposit of $149 or electric guitars (with amp and cable) for $29 per month with a refundable deposit of $189.

To pay for your rental guitar, choose the adult acoustic model, child's acoustic model, or electric guitar model below, and press "sign up". It's that simple! The initial charge will be for the first month and the deposit (this will be returned to you upon the return of the guitar). You will be automatically billed $19 each month until the guitar is returned. If you return the guitar in the middle of the month, you will receive a pro-rated discount for the remaining days in the month.

Acoustic rental guitars are also available to non-NYCGS students for an additional $20 per month, with a refundable deposit of an additional $40.
