Intermediate Adult Rock Band
Limited to five students. Eight weekly two-hour sessions.
Do you sing, or play guitar or bass or drums? Would you like to work on playing in a group? We have awesome fully equipped rehearsal
rooms with drums, PAs, big amplifiers, and fun people who are ready to rock with you. You'll work on classic and popular rock songs,
including student requests, under the patient and expert guidance of an experienced instructor.
For people who have not played in bands before. Students should have completed Guitar for Advanced Beginners or have a working knowledge of
barre chords; mastery of rhythm techniques, including basic palm muting; and a basic understanding of song structure. You will learn how to play together
as a band and use studio gear. The instructor will work through your parts with you, and you will master song structure!
The band meets for eight weekly two-hour sessions, culminating in a live rock show! You will take over the stage at NYC club, The Underscore, so invite everyone you know and get ready to rock Class 8!
