Advanced Adult Rock Band

Eight weekly 2-HOUR rehearsals plus a Rock Show.

20 Hours of Rock for $389 OR three monthly payments of $129.67
Room for up to 3 guitarists, 1 vocalist, 1 bassist, and 1 drummer.

Experience what it's REALLY like to work as a band. You'll get to rehearse and arrange songs under the guidance of an expert instructor. You'll also practice in a fully equipped rehearsal studio, and work as a team toward your big night on stage.

For adults who have experience playing in a band or group before. Students should also have completed the Advanced Beginners class or have a working knowledge of barre chords; mastery of rhythm techniques, including basic palm muting; and a basic understanding of song structure.

Your expert instructor will help you work with the studio gear, help choose and arrange the songs, and let you in on the secret tips to being a better band-member!

The class culminates in a live rock show at The Delancey in Manhattan's Lower East Side on Saturday, May 22nd from 6:00 - 9:00pm. The show is free, so invite everyone you know and get ready to rock!

-Disclaimers- Adult Rock Band at NYC Guitar School is like no other program! Here's how we're able to make it work!

1. Rock Band prepares you for the real world situation of playing in a band. Just like the real world, we may end up with three guitarists and no bass player. For this reason we ask band members to please be flexible and willing to step up and rock the bass for at least a couple of songs.

2. It takes four to rock! Bands with less than four people will be rescheduled one to two weeks later while we get more people signed up. Bands that have been re-scheduled once and are still short on members will be cut and students will either receive refunds or be placed in other bands.
