Funk Guitar Basics
Limited to five students. Ten weekly one-hour sessions. $319.00
Learn how to get down and funky with the music of James Brown, Led Zeppelin, Jimi
Hendrix, Jeff Beck, The Stones and Funkadelic. This class will show you how to incorporate
both lead and rhythm to form a new kind of tapestry on the guitar.
Pulling out lead riffs from chords will give you a different perspective of the
fretboard. Also, get a closer look at triads and their inversions and how to use them
to freshen up your chordal playing. For students who have completed Guitar For Advanced Beginners or who are otherwise familiar with basic open and barre chords and basic strums. Guitars available for use in the classroom.
